Nina Thomas is a French/Spanish Film Editor and Documentary Producer based in NYC. Alumna of both the CECC School (Barcelona, Spain) and the New York Film Academy, she is currently an Editor at the post-production company House of Trim in NYC, where she has worked on commercial, branded content and documentary projects. Some of her branded content work has been featured in GQ Magazine, Condé Nast Traveller, Esquire and Vogue.
In the documentary world, Nina has collaborated with filmmakers such as Camille Bidsøe ("The Happiest Family" DOCNYC 2015, "I'm Still Alive".) In 2018 she edited and produced the short documentary “Love From Afar”, which has been selected for multiple film festivals in the US, including a screening at the University of Yale. That same year, she co-founded the production company Opposite Sea Productions with her partner Joanna Aliano. In this new project, they have started producing their first documentary series, Tiny Apple, set to premiere in 2020, and the music video for singer Annie Pichan’s single “My Lover, I Don’t Need You” their first endeavor in the genre, which has already caught the eye of several film festivals in Europe.
