Love From Afar

Short Documentary (2018)

Cristian and Irene are siblings who grew up under very different circumstances. In a conversation with his US Citizen sister, Cristian, originally from Ecuador, shares his painful story; a journey of abandonment, change, adaptation and conciliation, from Riobamba to New York City. A story he shares with so many more immigrants in the US, including some of his own cousins. It is a story of love from afar.
